Community Health Scholarship
Deadline to apply: March 18, 2022
This scholarship is open to health care majors enrolled at the Metropolitan Indianapolis Central Indiana Health Education Center (MICI-AHEC) based at the University of Indianapolis. Applicants must meet all MICI-AHEC HCOP Scholarship Criteria requirements; be considered a service leader at school, in the community, or within other groups; and be majoring in a health care-related field (including Nursing and Health Information Management).
Jasmine Thompson Scholarship
Deadline to apply: March 18, 2022
This scholarship was created in honor of Jasmine Thompson, a student and advocate who has lived with Sickle Cell Disease most of her life. It is open to individuals under 25 years of age living with Sickle Cell Disease. Applicants must also be clients of the Martin Center Sickle Cell Initiative and be on track for graduating from high school or will obtain a GED and have a minimum GPA of 2.0 (out of a 4.0 scale).
Hoosier Hills Career Center Health Sciences Agriculture Scholarship
Deadline to apply: March 18, 2022
This scholarship is open to students from the Hoosier Hills Career Center (HHCC) that are pursuing post-secondary education.
They must be a current high school senior enrolled in the Biomedical Sciences, Health Sciences, or an Agriculture program; meet all graduating requirements; be considered a service leader at school or in the community; and plan to major in a healthcare or agriculture-related field.
Positive Impact Scholarship
Deadline to apply: March 18, 2022
This scholarship is open only to high school seniors who are the dependents of HealthNet employees. In addition, eligible applicants must be planning to enroll in an accredited college, university, technical, or vocational school with the intention of completing either a two or four-year undergraduate degree program as a full-time or part-time student. Eligible applicants must be on track for graduating from high school or will obtain a GED and have a minimum GPA of 2.0 (out of a 4.0 scale). They must also be making an impact in their school or local community (i.e., service leader).
